Peter’s Movie Pick of the Week: WolfCop

I’m not really a big vampire movie guy.
If you’re a fan of Kevin Smith and have been following him on social media, then I’m sure you’ve heard the news about his recent heart attack. Luckily, he is currently making his recovery, but this made me think about how much of an impact both Smith and his work have had on me.
So, last week I was looking for something to watch and came across DOGMA. It had been awhile since I had seen it, but I was instantly reminded why this is one of my favorite movies, and probably my favorite Kevin Smith film.
This time, I wanted to pick an older title, but not quite old enough to be considered “Classic”. Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer was released in 2007 and is a great little movie.
You may recall that during our Hellraiser episode, we mentioned that a new installment of the franchise was in production. At that time, details were very vague about Hellraiser Judgement and it was only a month ago that we got an official trailer. My initial thought was that it looked halfway decent, at best. Now, after seeing it, I can say that was a pretty fair assessment.
Ahh, The Super Bowl. A game so big that I’m not even entirely sure I can type that without getting sued. The Big Game maybe? I think I’ve seen that in supermarket commercials. Whatever. Football is evidently the most popular sport in America, so it should be easy to write a nice article on some Special Features around it, right? RIGHT?
